The theologians, expositors, and commentators have lots of words for the manner in which we should respond to the grace offered by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At the end of the day, however, it simply boils down to love. Our heavenly Father loves, us, His creation, and desires to be loved in return.
The older I get, the more I like to view the Bible as simply a love letter from God to us.
Our loving prayer inspirations for today are:

Act Of Love
O my God, I love You above all things,
with my whole heart and soul,
because You are all-good
and worthy of all love.
I love my neighbor as myself for the love of You.
I forgive all who have injured me,
and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
Amen

Dear Lord,
We thank you
for all of your blessings and
are grateful and humble
for your mercy.
We ask for forgiveness of our sins and
for help and guidance
in becoming more like Christ.
We pray for
all those in our world
who are in need
and ask you to help us
fulfill those needs.
Amen.
Looking Ahead
an excerpt from the prayer for the Church on the National Day of Prayer:
"We pray for the church to . . . magnify and manifest the love and light that Jesus calls us to be."
Psalm 33: 3 "Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy!"
May God bless our prayer journey together
